What are the quarters in a calendar year?
Generally, a calendar year will be split up into the following quarters:
- Quarter 1 (Q1) - January 1 - March 31,
- Quarter 2 (Q2) - April 1 - June 30,
- Quarter 3 (Q3) - July 1 - September 30,
- Quarter 4 (Q4) - October 1 - December 31.
However, this does not mean you will get paid out for the previous quarter on the first day of the new quarter.
When can I expect my payment to be distributed?
The system of processing commissions can often take up to several weeks before it is started, and then up to several more weeks before payments are sent out to Marketplace Creators that have reached and/or exceed their minimum payment threshold.
Why does my Pending Royalties seem to reset?
Once the processing has begun, it will often appear that the Pending Royalties page within your Marketplace Settings will "reset" to zero. This can serve as an indicator that the processing work has begun.
Where can I find if I have been paid or not?
Once the commissions have been processed, the commission payments will be sent out, and you will see record of this in your Marketplace Settings, under the "Recent Payments" section within Payment and Tax Information.
